Can a new heatsink like the Noctua cause the bending of pins due to strong clamp force? Again, I made sure to stop turning the screw as soon as it tightened up. I swapped around the Corsair Vengeance (2x8GB) RAM in different slots, testing them by using a single stick of RAM. Until I decided to swap out my Hyper 212 EVO with a Noctua NH-U12S.ġ) RAM slots 1 and 2 died.
